Crestron Occupancy Sensors Saint John NB

Used to enhance the functioning of environmental controls, the sensors’ built-in microprocessor-based technology optimizes performance and uses photocells to reduce the on time for lights and cut energy usage. Green Light sensors adjust to changing conditions. Upon detecting movement, each sensor initiates a “walk-through” mode, which is active for 2.5-minutes.

New to Crestron’s energy saving product line are Green Light occupancy sensors.

Used to enhance the functioning of environmental controls, the sensors’ built-in microprocessor-based technology optimizes performance and uses photocells to reduce the on time for lights and cut energy usage.

All the info after the jump.

Green Light sensors adjust to changing conditions. Upon detecting movement, each sensor initiates a “walk-through” mode, which is active for 2.5-minutes.

After this timeframe, the sensor shifts either into “occupied” mode, or, if further motion isn't detected, a “delayed off” turns the lights off.

The dual-technology (ultrasonic and passive infrared) sensing delivers optimum detection of motion and minimizes the effects of electrical noise, air currents and temperature changes.

Passive infrared-only versions are available as well.

While in use, the sensor learns and adapts to room occupancy patterns. There is also a built-in photocell that overrides the occupancy sensor if the ambient light level is above a set threshold, preventing lights from turning on when there is sufficient daylight in the room. Sensor behavior can be customized via the Crestron control system.

In addition, climate and device controls can be integrated. Models include dual-technology wall and ceiling mount versions with a variety of coverage ranges, from 450 square foot range to 2,500 square foot range.
