Hunter Concert Breeze Ceiling Fan and Wireless Sound System Jefferson City MO

The light kit contains three 40-watt candelabra bulbs plus a down-firing speaker, amp, and wireless receiver. Soundolier claims a 300-feet range for the wireless signal that comes from the included wireless transmitter. Four distinct signal channels are said to virtually eliminate wireless interference, and an unlimited number of speaker/receivers can be run from one transmitter.

Hunter Concert Breeze Ceiling Fan and Wireless Sound System

Provided By:

September 12, 2009 By HE Staff

So you say you want a revolution?

Hunter makes ceiling fans. Soundolier makes wireless audio systems. Put them together and you get... the Concert Breeze ceiling fan.

Both companies claim it's "the first and only fan-sound system combination that blends the cool comfort of moving air with the rich beauty of high definition audio." Some might think that description is a bit much, but when we heard the Concert Breeze ceiling fan playing and fanning the air in the Soundolier booth we were impressed with the amount of air that was moved - both by the fan blades and the 360-degree speaker that's built into the light kit hanging below the fan. It certainly didn't sound like a pair of Krell speakers, but when was the last time a pair of Krell speakers hung from the ceiling and kept the room cool?

The light kit contains three 40-watt candelabra bulbs plus a down-firing speaker, amp, and wireless receiver. Soundolier claims a 300-feet range for the wireless signal that comes from the included wireless transmitter. Four distinct signal channels are said to virtually eliminate wireless interference, and an unlimited number of speaker/receivers can be run from one transmitter.

The Concert Breeze fans are available in indoor and outdoor versions. Each includes a remote control for separate operation of light and audio functions. For those who might have all the fans they need, the light fixture/speaker/receiver kit is available separately.
