Simaudio MOON i3.3 Integrated Amplifier

Who says a two-channel integrated amplifier isn’t exciting?
Not Simaudio, that’s for sure.
The high-end audio company actually debuted several new MOON Series products at this year’s CES, including two disc players, two amplifiers, and a power supply upgrade.
The one that caught our eye is the i3.3 integrated amplifier. Why? Because Simaudio offers several optional add-ons not typically found in this product category. You can add an internal digital-to-analog converter, with USB, S/PDIF, and Toslink inputs, to connect a PC, digital music server, or external transport.
Or perhaps you’d prefer to add an internal phono preamp? How about a balanced line-level input? Better yet, why not add all three? Simaudio is happy to accommodate.
At its core, the i3.3 is a two-channel amplifier that uses a custom toroidal transformer design and offers 100 watts per channel into 8 ohms, 200 into 4 ohms, and “Class A” output to 5 watts.
The front panel features a mini-jack input and headphone output, and the back panel includes RS-232, an IR input, and a 12-volt trigger output – everything you need for integration into an advanced control system. There’s also a SimLink port for two-way communication with other MOON Series products.
If you're still a two-channel purist at heart, you definitely want to pay a visit to Simaudio's website to check out all the new products.
